The Centipede Press edition of Salem's Lot by Stephen King, published in 2004, is widely considered one of the finest limited editions of King's work ever produced. This large-format book, measuring 9 × 13 inches, is printed on 100# Mohawk Superfine paper and features striking duotone photographs by Jerry Uelsmann. The trade edition is bound in full black cloth and is signed by both King and Uelsmann, while the deluxe edition takes luxury a step further, being bound in Nigerian goatskin and housed in a custom traycase. The text in the deluxe edition is printed on mouldmade Saunders Waterford paper with deckled edges, further enhancing its tactile and aesthetic appeal. This edition also includes two related short stories, Jerusalem's Lot> and One for the Road, along with nearly 50 pages of deleted scenes from the original manuscript and the afterword from the Pocket Books edition. Released in several limited formats, including 300 signed and numbered copies, this edition has become a highly sought-after collectible, with its value tripling since its original $400 price.
